This recipe is taken directly from Weber’s official recipe library: Grilled Peaches with Blackberry Sauce, published on weber.com. It is a short, fruit-forward dessert that uses the grill you already have lit for dinner. We have not cooked it ourselves; the quantities and timings below are Weber’s, and the method is rewritten in our own words.
Weber lists it as serving 4, with about 10 minutes of prep and 8 to 10 minutes on the grill. The whole idea is simple: puree fresh blackberries into a sauce, glaze halved peaches with sweetened melted butter, and grill them until they are browned in spots and warm all the way through.
Ingredients
Quantities are as published by Weber. Metric figures in brackets are our own approximate conversions.
- 6 ounces fresh blackberries, about 1⅓ cups (roughly 170 g)
- 2 tablespoons water (about 30 ml)
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, divided
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (about 28 g)
- 4 medium peaches, firm but ripe, halved and pitted
- Vanilla frozen yogurt, optional
Grill Setup
Prepare the grill for direct cooking over medium heat, 350–450°F (about 175–230°C). Weber’s peach step also calls for brushing the cooking grates clean before the fruit goes on.
Method
- Make the sauce. Puree the blackberries with the water in a food processor. Weber says to add up to 2 tablespoons of the sugar, to taste, so sweeten it gradually and keep the last tablespoon for the peaches.
- Glaze mixture. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, stir in the remaining 1 tablespoon of sugar until it dissolves, then take the pan off the heat.
- Brush the peaches. Brush the peach halves with the butter mixture.
- Grill. Clean the grates, then set the peaches over direct medium heat with the lid closed. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning about every 3 minutes, until they are browned in spots and warm throughout.
- Serve. Lift the peaches off the grill and serve them warm with the blackberry sauce, plus a scoop of vanilla frozen yogurt if you like.
Diet Notes
Going strictly by Weber’s ingredient list:
- Not vegan as written. The glaze uses butter, which is dairy, and the optional serving suggestion is vanilla frozen yogurt, also dairy.
- No meat or fish appears in the ingredient list. We have not checked the ingredients of any particular brand of frozen yogurt or sugar, so read the labels of what you buy if you follow a strict vegetarian or vegan diet.
- Weber does not label the recipe as gluten-free, dairy-free or otherwise, and we are not making that claim.
Notes on the Method
A few details in the source are worth pausing on. The peaches are specified as firm but ripe, so choose fruit that gives slightly but is not soft. The lid stays closed and the heat stays at medium, so this is a moderate direct-heat cook rather than a quick scorch, and Weber’s cue for doneness is visual and tactile: browned in spots and warm throughout, rather than a set time alone. Turning about every 3 minutes, as Weber instructs, means each peach half changes position two or three times over the 8 to 10 minutes.
The sauce is the only step that needs a food processor, and Weber’s recipe does not cook it: the blackberries are pureed with a little water and sugar. Because it needs no heat, it is an easy part to make ahead of lighting the grill (our suggestion; Weber does not specify when to make it).

Serving Ideas From the Source
Weber suggests frozen yogurt with the blackberry version and ice cream in its sibling recipes, so a cold creamy scoop beside the warm fruit is clearly the intended finish. The sauce also works on its own, spooned over the peaches, if you would rather skip the dairy topping. That last point is our observation, not Weber’s, and the frozen yogurt is listed as optional in the recipe.
